He was the only adult I listened to and guided me. Probation officers, Judges, Parents, They all gave up on me. My PO required me to see him and from the first time we met in his leather vest and Harley Shirt he was always there to listen advise and help. I spent numerous nights homeless with no where to go but Mary and Charlie always had a bite to eat and a warm spot for me on their couch in Tukwila. Whether it was advice, guidance, a friend to talk to or just a place to get in from the cold Charlie was always there. I had thought of him recently and always meant to get over the mountain to visit but never did.. He visited me in juvy in the 80's I was so mad at everyone they had me locked in solitary. He changed my way of thinking and taught me everything happens for a reason. Acting the way I was was allowing them to win " the courts etc" Once I listened and changed that way of thinking I began winning. From being homeless and hungry to now I have a career 2 houses and a lot to be thankful for and I owe a lot of it to Charlie. Everything does happen for a reason . Thanks Dragon RIP

I met Charly when I was 7. everyone thought I was uncontrolible and a brat but charly didn't, he thought I could be helped. Im now 12 and almost every one I meet say "you are suck a good boy" or "you have exelint maners".
